About
MY BACKGROUND
As a product management executive, I've had the privilege of working with top-tier brands like Iterable, Amazon, Marketo, and Box, Inc., driving flagship products, delivering impactful experiences, and crafting amazing stories. My journey has been characterized by a commitment to fostering a growth mindset, promoting radical candor, and ensuring psychological safety within my teams. In all my roles, I have championed a narrative- and data-driven methodology, cultivating inclusive relationships and aligning cross-functional teams. This holistic approach ensures products resonate deeply with users, enhancing their experiences and driving business outcomes.

In my current role as Senior Director of Product at Iterable, I spearhead strategic vision and product execution across all messaging channels, content creation, and orchestration (encompassing Channels/SDKs/Journeys/Templates/Content/Campaigns/Audiences/Catalog/Analytics+). Built the team from ground zero, leading up to 9 direct reports. Launched 6 new revenue driving Channels, earned a High-Impact Award as the strategic product owner for the company’s largest revenue-driving product launch, led the team and phased roll-out strategy that transformed Iterable’s core application into a powerful and intuitive experience by launching a new design interface in collaboration with design and engineering, earning Iterable recognition in the Gartner® Peer InsightsTM Voice of the Customer: Multichannel Marketing Hubs report “Customers’ Choice” category for exceeding the market average in overall experience and user interest and adoption.

Previously, at Box, Inc., I modernized and personalized the Box WebApp for 3.5 million global users. I defined the vision and roadmap for new core products, and partnered with the Product Design team to enhance user research and iterative design processes. Launched Box Collections with outstanding WoW performance, achieving a 75% WoW retention rate in the 10 weeks between launch and my departure.

At Amazon, I led teams for core offerings, including the Alexa Mobile App, Amazon Prime Video, and Amazon Seller Central. My leadership in defining and launching a personalized Alexa Mobile App home feed resulted in a 30% average click-through rate, with peaks of 80%. I also delivered launches resulting in $10.6M in annual operational cost savings.

My educational background includes an Executive Certificate in Business Excellence from UC Berkeley Haas, and a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology from San Jose State University.

RECENT CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Built the Messaging team from ground zero to a fully operational, high-performing team, achieving a 566% increase in delivered features annually, including 85% of all customer-facing features, helping to catapult Iterable from $42M to $200M+ in ARR.

Led the strategic efforts to introduce 6+ new revenue generating market channels for Iterable, such as In-browser messaging, Iterable SMS, OTT, Embedded and ongoing initiatives, resulting in millions of net new ARR.

Led the team and phased roll-out strategy that transformed Iterable’s core application into a powerful and intuitive application by launching the new design interface, Aurora, in collaboration with design and engineering teams. Launch included converting and overhauling the UI from Angular to React, and rolling out Iterable’s powerful Journey Studio. The transformation led to Iterable earning recognition in the Gartner® Peer InsightsTM Voice of the Customer: Multichannel Marketing Hubs report “Customers’ Choice” category for exceeding the market average in overall experience and user interest and adoption.

Achieved and maintained 100% employee retention of direct reports for 4 years by advocating on behalf of the team and encouraging their growth and development while setting and holding them accountable to high standards. Developed employees as a talent enabler, resulting in 4 promotions, including 2 team members’ transitions from ICs to managers.
